After completing the “For the Whom the Bell Tolls” quest  you’ll be able to start the Brushes With Death DLC by visiting its quest marker.

If you own the Gold Edition of Kingdom Come: Deliverance II, Brushes With Death is included at no extra cost. If you have the Standard Edition, you can get it by purchasing the Expansion Pass, which includes all three planned expansions - or you can buy it separately as a standalone DLC on the platform store.

Once you meet the mysterious artist in Kingdom Come: Deliverance II – Brushes With Death and finish the introduction quest, you’ll see a dialogue option. This lets you customize your shield by choosing from various patterns, colours, categories, and symbols. As you progress through the game, you’ll unlock additional symbols to make your design even more unique.
